PierShare numbers are programmed to allow calling at only the right times during a docking so that dock owners and boaters do not waste unnecessary time on the phone discussing information that was already captured as a part of the inquiry process.
In order to talk to a boater or dock owner during an active docking inquiry, the boater must have an active docking invitation from the dock owner and he/she must have an active payment method linked to his/her account.
