How does PierShare's cloud communication technology work?

PierShare has developed a secure texting and calling platform that assigns VOIP numbers to both boaters and dock owners with active inquiries. They are forwarding numbers that are designed to allow us to seamlessly connect both dock owner and boater in a secure manner that protects the privacy of each individual.

In addition to protecting each user’s private information, PierShare’ secure numbers are also programmed to allow SMS and calling at exactly the right times during a docking so that unnecessary communications do not take place.

All users with an active docking inquiry are automatically assigned a secure PierShare number. This number stays connected to all users’ accounts as long as they participate in one docking per calendar year, and the number stays constant as you proceed from one docking to the next.
