How does stayaboard work?

Stayboard refers to boat owners, their captains, or crew members staying aboard their vessels overnight for short stretches of time on an infrequent basis. This may be the result of a boater who is living out of state visiting his boat once every couple months and wanting to stay on board for a night or two instead of staying in a hotel. It could also refer to a boater who is preparing for a long voyage and would like to stay on board before embarking to prepare the vessel for departure. 

Your listing specifics whether you permit stayaboard activity. In the event that stayaboard activity has occurred at your space, you may choose to be charge an additional fee for this activity. We are currently developing functionality as part of your docking dashboard that will allow you to automatically charge a boater for activity if this occurs.
