How do I change my docking's start date?

You can adjust the anticipated arrival date of your docking by logging into PierShare, clicking on dockings at the top right of any page, and then pressing “Message and View Details” under the relevant docking in the list. 

Once you are in the docking dashboard, select “Arrival” from the panel options and then proceed to update your anticipated arrival date. Please note that if you have already secured a space you will be expected to dock your boat within the 30 days after securing. 

After you adjust your anticipated arrival date, the dock owner will be immediately notified so that he/she can prepare for your arrival accordingly. If the dock owner needs to adjust the start date of the docking because the new date you had entered does not work for them, they are able to do so as well. Any adjustments that are made to an arrival date, whether it was initiated by the dock owner or boater, require an accompanying adjustment message so that any changes are transparent.
