If you decide that you will stay past your anticipated departure date, PierShare’s automated systems will recognize that you have not yet left the space and will automatically adjust all pricing and docking data so that the dock owner is informed of your delayed departure.
We are currently developing functionality that will allow boaters to extend their dockings past their departure date. For now, if you have already initiated your departure and are being charged on a pro-rated basis, please inform the dock owner by calling or texting that you will be staying past the 30 day departure cycle. Our back end systems will continue charging you for this 30 day period by the day and your docking will then be transitioned automatically to a month to month plan.
